Born in Stuttgart Germany, Ralph attended the Mathăus Hăuss College of Music. He has worked as a studio musician in Europe and the U.S. He has played a variety of musical styles with many ensembles. He plays upright acoustic bass, and fretless and fretted electric bass. Ralph brings a high level of sophistication and energy to So What. He plays brilliantly and with devotion. His solos capture you and leave you wanting more. Where else can you hear a bassist bow an acoustic upright, and then pick up a six string electric bass with a whammy bar. Ralph is in a league of his own. |
