Dan graduated from UW-La Crosse with bachelor's degree in instrumental music education. While in college, he played in the wind symphony, concert band, 1st jazz ensemble, and various saxophone quartets and jazz combos. He had the opportunity to perform in the jazz band at UW-La Crosse with guest artists Kurt Elling, Byron Stripling, Bob Mintzer, and Bobbi Wilsyn.
Dan left the San Diego area and relocated to Minneapolis in the fall of 2004. |
