The end of an era is near, as Mr. Joey's changes ownership.
Our upcoming gig at Mr. Joey's in La Mesa will be our last. Soon
to be under new ownership, live music will no longer be a feature of
the popular local restaurant. Mr. Joey's has become one of the
most band friendly restaurants around, with a nice size stage, good
sound system, great lighting, and even a fog machine! Not that we
ever used it, but knowing it has been there for that special jazz
moment is still comforting, somehow.
For us, change is always a good thing, though. So thanks for
giving us a regular place to play, Joey. Keep checking back as we
add new and exciting locations to our itinerary.
